These rugged, all-steel chains are suitable for a wide variety of drive applications where difficult operating conditions prevail. They are commonly used for the propel and crowd drives on cranes and shovels, for drum drives on transit mixer trucks and for drives on heavy-duty conveyors and processing equipment. Pins, bushings and rollers are made of steel and hardened for superior wear resistance. A balanced design provides maximum live bearing area. Rollers are accurately machined for correct operating clearances. Pitch hole locations are closely controlled to assure accurate pitch. Pins and bushings are locked against rotation in sidebars by controlled press fits.
